The Director of Finance and Accounts of the National Automotive Design and Development Council, David Oyetunji, has successfully completed the defense his Ph.D. Economics and Thesis.
With the successful defense of his thesis titled, “ Impact of Automotive Industry on Economic Growth in Nigeria: 1987-2017, Oyetunji will now be formally known and addressed as Dr David O. Oyentunji.
The academic feat was successfully achieved on Tuesday, 17th December, 2019.
Dr Oyetunji, it would be recalled, was recently conferred with the Fellowship of The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN). The Fellowship of the Association of National Accountants is described as the climax of the accounting profession. Oyetunji was also recently conferred with the Africa’s Patriotic Personality Award 2019.
In October, Oyetunji was also conferred with the Honorary Doctoral Degree in Leadership from the Commonwealth University and London Graduate School.
A member of several professional bodies including Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM), Certified National Accountant (CNA) Fellow Certified National Accountant (FCNA), Fellow Chartered Institute of Management Auditor (FCIMA), the NADDC Director was in November conferred as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Systems Accountant.
Speaking on these developments, Dr Oyetunji attributed these successes to God and the support of his family, while also expressing appreciation to his academic supervisors, including Professors Sarah Anyanwu and Dr. Muhammad Nuruddeen Isa and other lecturers for diligent supervision and direction.
“I really and sincerely appreciate the show of love and joyful comments on my new status. I pray that joy will not depart from your families. Also, I pray for supernatural and divine possibilities for every one of us, family members and Nigeria at large”, Dr Oyetunji added.
According to him, his wish is for God to make the remaining days of this year full of positive testimonies for everyone
