David Oyetunji Bags ACSA’s Fellowship In America

Few weeks after a gale of awards and recognition for Dr David Oyetunji, the Association of Chartered Systems Accountants (ACSA) has conferred on him, the Fellowship of the professional body.

With this development, Dr David Oyetunji is now a Fellow Chartered System Accountant (FCSA).

The international career recognition was bestowed on Oyetunji on November 19th at New Orleans, United States of America, and comes with a Certificate in E-Accounting and Networking Opportunities in Developed Countries.

Dr Oyetunji is the Director of Finance and Accounts at the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investments, and it would be recalled that the he also recently bagged a PhD from the Commonwealth University.

Described by many as a seasoned Economist and professional accountant of repute, Oyetunji was also recently decorated as a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) which is described as the climax of the accounting profession in Nigeria.

He is also a Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM), a Fellow of the Certified National Accountant (CNA) Fellow Certified National Accountant (FCNA), and a Fellow Chartered Institute of Management Auditor (FCIMA)

The NADDC Director also bagged a Master Class Certificate in Business Management and Leadership from the London Graduate School few weeks ago.

Speaking on these developments, Oyetunji said he was dedicating the awards and recognition to God and to his family, all of whom has stood by him in the quest for academic excellence and pursuit.

He noted it is only God that can take the glory for the blessings of wisdom, strength, resources, an amazing family, wonderful colleagues and numerous well-wishers amongst others.

Oyetunji who was also recently conferred with the Africa’s Patriotic Personality Award 2019 said further that the Glory of these must go to God Almighty who has made everything possible.

 According to him, there are 4Ps of success which must be applied and upheld in life if sustainable success will be made, and they are purpose, productivity, providence and perseverance.

“When life appear gloomy hold on to faith in God and persevere”, he said.

Waxing philosophical, Oyetunji said greatness begins with concepts in our minds, and with a march forward,the goal can be approached and attained, dding also it was important to keep the light of our minds shining because such will manifest positive surprises and marvel all.

Going further, the ASCA’s fellow noted it was important to drive whatever passion with will determination and knowledge,alongside perseverance and the fear of God,in order to see accomplishments that will spring forth like germinated plants.

“Keep doing what you know best and at Gods appointed time,recognition of your efforts and contributions will begin to yield fruits unexpectedly”.

He pointed out that actualizing goals brings fulfillment of dreams, while a reflection of the past increase the heart of gratitude.

According to Oyetunji, life is ever in stages, patience and perseverance are keys to elevation,

“A finger does not lift load onto the head alone but with other fingers. Your life’s goals are easily realizable with family members in unity”, he added

A professional to the core, Dr Oyetunji who is eulogized as a consummate public servant was a Data Processing Officer, Finance Officer, Loan Recovery Head, Treasury Officer, Investment Officer, Assistant Branch Manager, Research Economist, Consultant, General Manager, Senior Accountant, Senior Auditor, Principal Auditor, Assistant Chief Auditor, and Chief Auditor.

He was an Assistant Director (Audit), Deputy Director (Finance), Director Special Duties, before becoming the Director Finance and Accounts.

Dr Oyetunji also worked with the Federal Ministry of Transport and Aviation, Meteorological Department Services, Federal Ministry of Finance, Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
