Skills Acquisition: Sokoto Based NGO Targets Youths, Unemployed Graduates

Multi Skills Acquisitions, Vocations and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (MUSVEC) based in Sokoto, said it is set to provide opportunities for youths through vocational training and skills acquisition.
The Sokoto State based Non-Governmental Organization focuses on youth development aimed at making Nigeria’s teeming youth population, unemployed graduates self-reliant through skill acquisition.

MUSVEC is an NGO established by a woman; an indigene of Sokoto state, who having gathered adequate experience in empowerment of vulnerable groups as a coordinator for Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara states under a US based international NGO Opportunities Industrialization Centre International (OICI), decided to roll out the programs,
According to her, the initiative is aimed at creating opportunities for the teeming unemployed youth in areas of; tailoring, catering, shoe and bags making, knitting, interior decoration, hairdressing, make-up, beads making, fashion design, confectionary making, and cosmetology.
MUSVEC has scheduled a free 5-Day Basic entrepreneurship development training in the aforementioned skills.
