The Oyin Akoko born, Balogun of Akure Kingdom, Rear Admiral Samuel Ilesanmi Alade, (Rtd) has written his name in gold in the heart of the people of Constituency 2 in Akoko North West Local Government (ANWLG) through his donation of palliatives to the different communities.
Alade’s humanitarian consideration is in line with the recent moves by other good spirited Nigerians and as a moved to support the effort of the Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu’s government of Ondo State.
While presenting his donation, Alade said “I have always been moved by the level of poverty among my people whose situation today has become worsen and more pathetic by the effect of the Corona Virus Pandemic.
“And as a passionate person I am also moved to donate the palliatives by following the footsteps of Gov. Akeredolu’s efforts to assist the people in curbing the spread of Covid-19 in the State”.
The first leg of the program commenced in the early hours of Friday and Saturday has been scheduled by Alade’s and his team to donate Palliatives to the residents of the Communities.
The event attracted Community Leaders, Politicians, Youth and Women Leaders who gathered to witnessed Alade’s humanitarian consideration to the people.
Among political leaders present includes Hon. Ayodele Akande, former LG Caretaker Chairman and All Progressives Congress, APC Flagbearer at the forthcoming LG Election.
Other are Hon Awe Azeez, Special Assistant (SA) to Gov. Akeredolu on Political Mobilisation, Hon.Gbenga Atiba, SA on Security Matters to Gov.Akeredolu, Hon. Abiola Ojo, Rt. Hon.Oluwasegunota Bolarinwa, SSA to Gov on Legislative Matters, Alhaji Tajudeen Kareem,LG. APC Chairman, Chief Bello and others.
